HOW EQUITY HACKATHON #002 WILL WORK

There will be three phases

Phase 1: Ideas

  • In this phase, you’ll form your project team and select the problem statement that you will solve from one of the thematic areas presented.
  • You will then submit your idea for the project to be undertaken during the hackathon period. Review the submission guidelines to know what is expected from you.
  • Your submissions will then be reviewed and when your idea has been approved, you may begin to build your code.

Phase 2: Build

  • Get started right away.
  • In this phase, you’ll build your project and take advantage of mentorship that will be offered.
  • At the end of Phase 2, all projects will be judged and the top will be selected by the Equity Technical Team. Those top projects will move forward into Phase 3: Pitch.

Phase 3: Pitch

  • In this phase, the top teams chosen by judges in Phase 2 will be asked to give a presentation to the final judging team who will then select a winner.

Equity Hackathon Rules

  1. The hackathon will be conducted virtually.
